Marquis L. Laude, CPP, DHS V
PRESIDENT
Mr. Laude is President of Integrated Security Solutions, Inc.
and has more than 30 years experience in the security industry.
He is technically skilled in the arena of design, installation,
and start-up of security and life safety systems. He was the
Project Engineer on the US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering
and Support Center ID/IQ contract for 8 years, designing,
engineering and managing the installation of complex systems
throughout the world. His expertise includes security
management, electronic security systems, training and
development, surveys and assessments, program management,
security system integration and design, surveillance systems,
and investigations, as well as problem solving and
communications.
Mr. Laude’s unique experience as a federal agent, combined with
his electronic security experience and certifications qualify
him for most any security management role. He shares his
knowledge with other engineering professionals by teaching
security engineering related to anti-terrorism, physical and
electronic security measures. Mr. Laude also teaches security
professionals the management, administration, operation and
maintenance of electronic security systems.
Previously he was the Physical Security Manager for an
international organization employing over 5,000 multi-national
multi-cultural employees worldwide. In that capacity, he was
responsible for the security program, including security policy
and procedures development and implementation, physical
security, electronic security, vulnerability assessments on
diplomatic officials and conducting investigations. He also
provided employee training on violence in the workplace,
personal security, and travel and life safety.
Following several years as a Special Agent with the US
Government, Mr. Laude also performed duties as a Protective
Services Agent from 1989-1992. Mr. Laude was the Special
Agent-in-Charge of multiple protective service missions assigned
to conduct and supervise worldwide protective service missions
for then-Secretary of Defense, The Honorable Richard B. Cheney,
and the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Colin Powell.
Mr. Laude has a unique history of experience in security system
applications, from concept, through design and construction to
the final product with additional expert skills in system
certification and commissioning. Mr. Laude’s broad experience in
federal law enforcement, personal protection for high profile
individuals, vulnerability assessments and international
terrorism, investigative training and security management,
combined with his intellectual skills with integrated security
systems brings an unprecedented array of assets rarely seen in a
security professional.
